Ayrloom Edibles
Ayrloom does not mess around with their edible selection. Sure, they’ve got top tier vapes, tinctures, and infused prerolls too, but their edibles are not to be slept on. From conveniently canned drinks with flavors like honey crisp apple cider and yuzu citrus seltzer to an assortment of delicious gummies with effect-specific cannabinoid ratios, Ayrloom has something for everyone! Also, there’s something to be said for a company that means sour when they say it. For sour candy fans these are a must try.

Stiiizy Infused Prerolls
Stiiizy is a California brand that recently made its way into the New York market and is creating quite a buzz. Their vape pods have been making waves across the country due to their potency and wide variety of available strains, and their prerolls are no different. Boasting THC percentages in the high thirties to mid-forties, these dog walkers are small but mighty. The perfect, smooth hits will leave you wanting more but the high potency will have you thinking twice about whether you need it. Lucky for you, should you decide you do, each jar comes with five joints so feel free to spark another or share one with a friend!

Synergy Flower
Synergy is a new brand in the NY Cannabis market offering five-gram jars and boasting big flavors with even bigger highs! Their simplistic jar design might fool you, but let us be the first to tell you, what you can’t see through the jar is as fire as their line of flavors sounds. From pink guava to sour headband, lemon cello to blue Gushers, not one misses. This batch is going to absolutely FLY off the shelves so if you need some Synergy in your life, head over to Terp Bros and ask your favorite budtender to hook you up.
LOCAL MUNCHIES HIGHLIGHT: DITMARS DRAGON PHOENIX
Astoria is known for its many food options. You’ve got a million Greek places to choose from, all exceeding the previous in quality. The middle eastern and Egyptian options on Steinway are countless and amazing. More than worth the short stroll from the Ditmars area to try them out. However, there is one type of cuisine that, for the most part, is underrepresented in the Astoria area. That is great, hole-in-the-wall Chinese food. Also, when we say “hole-in-the-wall” it’s a term of endearment. Traditional Chinese food is amazing and delicious but sometimes you just need a spot with a nice chicken and broccoli combo that comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll (or soda). Should you find yourself looking for classic American Chinese food (or a wide variety of tasty traditional Chinese dishes), look no further than right across the street from Terp Bros, Ditmars Dragon Phoenix. The food is fantastic, and the portions are huge for their extremely reasonable prices. However, beyond that, the store is always very clean, the food always comes out fast, and the staff is kind and welcoming. Our budtenders eat there regularly, and the Ditmars Dragon Phoenix family has become a part of the Terp Bros family in a big way! Next time you pick up some goodies here, head across the street for your munchy needs. You won’t be disappointed.

Get High on the Roosevelt Island Tram (Roosevelt Island / Manhattan – Anytime)
Spoiler alert, we’re not saying smoke on the tram. But what you do before you get on is none of our business. Astoria is great and has pretty much everything you could need. In theory, you could probably spend your whole life without ever leaving the neighborhood. While that may sound fine for some, we know that not everybody spends all their time here and we love that! Exploring and getting out of your own neighborhood is one of the best parts of living in this city and one of the most unique ways to travel in the city is by using the Roosevelt Island Tram. Planning on going into the city? Want to do it in style? Here’s what you do. First, stop by Terp Bros for all your cannabis needs. Next, find a nice, sunny spot to smoke up and let your high set in. Finally, head over to the Tram on Roosevelt Island (not far from Astoria) and hop on. You’ll get one-of-a-kind views of the city and the river as you float high above it all in more ways than one! Then get dropped off in the heart of the east side to continue your journey!

Dog Adoption Event – Korean K9 Rescue (Sun. Mar 30, 1pm, Petco Union Square)
If you live in Astoria, you see dog owners walking their dogs all day every day. This alone might be enough to scratch that pet owning itch for some, but for those who just need a furry friend of their own, the Korean K9 Rescue is hosting an adoption event at Petco Union Square this Sunday, March 30th at 1pm. It may be in the city, but a short trip on the train is a short price to pay for a new best friend. Meet the dogs that are available for adoption and take home the one that steals your heart!

Get drinks (and GIANT pretzels) at the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden (24th Ave, Astoria)
Astoria is lucky enough to have a traditional bohemian beer garden and it is a great place to visit as the weather warms up. Do what you need to do to get the munchies (trust us, you’ll want to go hungry) then grab a frosty mug of one of their many imported and domestic beer options and pair it with a classic German sausage with various mustards or grab one of their iconic giant Bavarian pretzels. Don’t forget the mustard and beer cheese for dipping!
