02 · The Brief

What HAPPY HOUNDS means at the Terp Bros counter.

Happy Hounds is the pet-CBD answer at both Terp Bros stores, a New York-based brand founded by Rianna Young, producing lab-tested CBD treats, tinctures, and balms for dogs and cats out of a GMP-certified facility in NY. The hand-sell at the counter is for Queens shoppers picking up their own flower or edibles who mention they have a dog or cat at home. Because Happy Hounds products are CBD-only (no THC), they sit in a separate compliance lane from our cannabis SKUs, but selling them inside a licensed adult-use dispensary keeps the whole purchase inside a regulated retail experience. The product line combines hemp-derived CBD with superfoods. Available at Terp Bros across all 22 Queens ZIPs we deliver to. Astoria and Ozone Park both stock the rotation.

Why it lives at Terp Bros

Happy Hounds earns shelf space because Queens shoppers are also pet owners, and the question 'is there something for my dog' comes up at the counter weekly. NY-rooted, woman-founded, GMP-certified manufacturing, the brand checks every box we look for in an accessory partner. Pairing a Happy Hounds tincture with the customer's own NY OCM-tested cannabis edible turns a single-purchase trip into a household trip. For an Astoria or Ozone Park regular with a dog or cat at home, Happy Hounds is the answer the budtenders point to without having to invent a workaround.

An Astoria regular picking up Foy Nighttime gummies mentions their senior dog at home. The budtender pulls a Happy Hounds tincture off the accessory shelf, same trip, two members of the household covered. Ask your vet about your pet.

Out of New York, on the Queens shelf today.

HAPPY HOUNDS originated in New York. Like every brand on our wall, it earned its spot only after passing the New York OCM compliance lab and our buyer’s shelf review. What lands at Astoria and Ozone Park is the same formulation the brand makes everywhere, held to the same independent test we hold our Hudson Valley growers to.

05 · Frequently asked

What folks ask about HAPPY HOUNDS.

Q.01Is Happy Hounds sold in New York?

Yes, Happy Hounds is a New York-based pet CBD brand founded by Rianna Young, with products manufactured in a GMP-certified facility in NY. We stock Happy Hounds treats, tinctures, and balms at both Terp Bros Astoria and Terp Bros Ozone Park. Because the products are CBD-only (no THC), they sit in a separate compliance lane from our cannabis SKUs, but selling them through a licensed adult-use dispensary keeps the purchase inside a regulated retail experience. Available at Terp Bros across all 22 Queens ZIPs we deliver to.

Q.02What categories does Happy Hounds make at Terp Bros?

Edibles (CBD treats), tinctures, and topicals (balms), all formulated for dogs and cats. The treats are flavored for palatability and dosed for pet weight ranges. Tinctures are the most flexible format, letting owners measure the dose drop by drop. Balms are applied to the skin or paw pads. All products combine hemp-derived CBD with superfoods. Happy Hounds does not produce human cannabis products and isn't a NY OCM cannabis brand, it's a CBD pet brand sold at our dispensary as an accessory category.

Q.03Is Happy Hounds NY OCM compliant?

Happy Hounds products are CBD-only and don't contain THC, which means they sit outside NY OCM's adult-use cannabis testing framework. The brand operates under separate hemp-derived CBD regulations and is manufactured in a GMP-certified facility in NY, which is the relevant compliance standard for pet products. The value of buying Happy Hounds at Terp Bros is that the full transaction, your THC products plus your pet's CBD, happens inside a licensed dispensary where the staff can answer questions about both lanes. We can talk through the product line and the label.

Q.04Where can I find Happy Hounds in Queens?

Both Terp Bros stores, Astoria covers the 11102 / 11103 / 11105 / 11106 catchment, Ozone Park covers the 11414 / 11417 / 11420 / 11421 catchment, plus the rest of the 22 Queens ZIPs we deliver to. Tinctures and treats are the most consistently stocked Happy Hounds SKUs at both locations; balms rotate based on supply. If you have questions about your pet, ask your vet. The budtenders can walk through the product line and labels at the counter.
