What’s good, Terp Bros family? It’s Tuesday yet again, and you know what that means. It’s time for us to hit you with another list of new heat hitting the shelves here at Terp Bros (Astoria and Ozone Park) as well as where to eat and what to do in the beautiful borough of Queens this week! Our two year anniversary party was an absolute BLAST because of all of you and we can’t thank everyone who came though to show love enough! We don’t exist without you guys and that’s why we’re so dedicated to quality products and service. Here’s to many more years together! As for now, grab your phone and open up the notes app because you aren’t going to want to miss a single one of our recs this week. The weather may be cooling down but that just means our weekly lists are heating up!
WEEKLY FEATURED PRODUCTS
1. MilkWeed Flower 1/8ths - Candy Funk
All weed is just weed, right? Wrong. Sorry, this isn’t a quiz. However, we think you’ll agree after you try this Candy Funk from MilkWeed. Sure, weed is great. However, for some smokers, the high that weed alone offers simply isn’t enough. We get it. No judgement here. If you couldn’t drink cold drinks when it’s cold outside, then you couldn’t try the new amazing line of bottled THC teas from Harney Brothers! That just isn’t a world we want to live in. WEEKLY MUNCHIES _HIGH_LIGHT - BIRRIA LES (ASTORIA)
Few things in this life offer the simple pleasures of a properly prepared taco. Not one loaded with nonsense and extras, but one that focuses on the quality of ingredients over quantity. Quality tortillas, expertly cooked meat, fresh onion and cilantro. You can’t beat that. Oh, and don’t forget the delicious consomme broth to dip them in! It’s an absolute must. Birria LES has been serving up amazing birria tacos, tortas, dumplings, and even ramen to hungry hipsters in the Lower East Side for years and have finally expanded to bring their delicious food to Astoria! It was only a matter of time before somebody moved in to fill the taco shaped hole in this neighborhood’s food scene. We could not be happier that the place to do it was Birria LES. Whether you go for the tacos, or something more adventurous like their birria ramen or grilled cheese, you’ll be absolutely blown away by their flavors! This place is not for bland food lovers. We are talking nothing but tens and elevens on the flavor scale. This place could make Guy Fiery rethink moving the capital of Flavor Town itself right here to Astoria. If you love tacos, you’re welcome. This place is here to stay! Our recommendation is to get yourself three tacos to start. With or without cheese. And of course, you have to grab a cup of the consomme for dipping! Be aware, your hands (and possibly other parts) may get messy while eating here, but the mess is well worth the amazing food. Stop by Terp Bros Astoria to get some pre-taco smoke and head down the street (less than a block) to get yourself some of the best tacos in town at Birria LES!
WHAT TO DO IN QUEENS THIS WEEK
Halloween Scary-Oke Night at Karaoke Shout! Oct 31st, 5pm - 4am

Rocky Horror Picture Show Screening - Q.E.D. Astoria - Oct 31st, multiple showings!
No movie says Halloween quite like Rocky Horror Picture Show. Well, as long as you don’t think about that one series of movies with the guy in the mask. What’s that one called again? Oh well, it doesn’t matter. This is about Rocky Horror Picture Show. The fun and absurdity paired with the timeless musical numbers and unique interactivity. It’s a classic for a reason and at Q.E.D. Astoria, they know it better than anyone. In fact, on Halloween they’ll be showing the cult classic flick all night! That’s right, four different showings of the hilariously haunting movie so no matter what your plans for the night already are, there will be a showing happening before or after! Had enough of the classic nightclub Halloween? We get it, and for that reason, we’re highlighting this awesome alternative option! We can’t wait to see you there! In the meantime, feel free to head to Terp Bros to grab yourself some of their new Space Poppers infused popcorn because what’s a good movie without some delicious popcorn?
Celebrate Halloween The Old Fashioned Way
No, we don’t mean 1920’s Halloween activities. As much as counting pumpkin seeds and bobbing for apples sounds like fun, that isn’t what we’re talking about. We mean, why not relive your youth a bit? Head to a recently closed store that has been taken over by the orange virus that is Spirit Halloween and grab yourself a kooky costume. Make sure it’s appropriate, it _is_ 2025 after all. From there, head to Terp Bros with your buddies to show off your new threads and pick up some over twenty one Halloween treats! We’ve got plenty of Halloween themed products to fill your lungs with deliciousness and fill your heart with holiday nostalgia! It’s kind of like trick or treating but for adults and not free. But we still have plenty of candy, it just happens to make you feel better than a candy apple ever could. You’re never too old to enjoy Halloween the way you used to. The treats may be different and the costumes may come in a slightly larger size these days, but the Halloween spirit is still alive in all of us. A fun costume and a good joint may be all you need to wake it back up! Also, please don’t TP or egg your neighbors’ houses this year. Those things are expensive and sometimes hard to find these days.
