The Parent Strain Behind OG Kush, Sour Diesel and Stardawg
Chemdawg is listed as the parent strain to OG Kush, Sour Diesel and Stardawg. The aroma is sour diesel, sharp pine and earthy hash on the exhale.
The origin story is murky. Its parents are unknown, rumored to be a sativa-leaning Thai and Nepalese cross, and the strain is said to have surfaced on the East Coast in the early 1990s, with one rumor placing its discovery at a Grateful Dead show. Flowering takes 9-10 weeks.
A Balanced Lift
Reported effects fit creative work and easy social time. Onset is fast, 3-4 minutes, and the reported effect is a balanced cerebral lift with body weight. Smoked or vaped, it stays with you for roughly 2 to 4 hours; an edible stretches that out.
Terpene Order: Caryophyllene, Limonene, Myrcene
Caryophyllene
Caryophyllene opens the order: peppery, warm, grounding on the body, set beside the sour diesel.
Limonene
Limonene is the second terpene, described as uplifting and clear-headed, and the reported effect is a balanced cerebral lift.
Myrcene
Myrcene sits third, with the body-relaxing, heavy descriptors, next to the earthy hash.
