GG#4 is a hybrid from Chem Sis, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel, tested at 22-30% THC, with sour chocolate, diesel funk and earthy pine on the nose. It comes on fast, in 2 to 3 minutes, and settles into a heavy balanced couch-lock with a clear head. Caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene lead.
Two Minutes to Couch-Lock
Onset is fast, in 2 to 3 minutes. The peak is heavy and balanced, with strong body relaxation and a head that stays clear. Its 22-30% THC range reaches higher than OG Kush, Cherry Pie or Green Crack, the related strains listed below. Inhaled, it lasts 2 to 4 hours. An evening movie suits it.
Diesel, Chocolate and Pine in the Terpene Stack
The terpene order is caryophyllene, limonene, myrcene, and the nose reads sour chocolate, diesel funk and earthy pine.
Caryophyllene
Caryophyllene takes the lead slot, peppery and warm, a body-grounding presence next to the sour chocolate.
Limonene
Limonene follows in second place, uplifting and clear-headed, near the diesel funk.
Myrcene
Myrcene closes the stack with body-relaxing, heavy descriptors, the classic indica-feel.
From Nevada With Joesy Whales and Lone Watty
GG Strains, run by Joesy Whales and Lone Watty, produced GG#4 in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2013 from Chem Sis, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel. It flowers in 8 to 9 weeks.
How GG#4 Compares to Related Strains
OG Kush shares the terpene lead with lemon-pine and fuel at a lower 19-26% THC. Cherry Pie lists tart cherry and sweet pie crust at a lower 18-25% THC. Sour Diesel is sativa-leaning with a gasoline-forward nose. Green Crack lists mango pulp and tropical citrus at 15-22% THC.
Sour Chocolate and Diesel: Decoding the GG#4 Nose
Sour chocolate leads, then diesel funk, with earthy pine at the end. The parents are Chem Sis, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel. GG Strains created it in 2013. The listed range is 22-30% THC.
