OG Speed: Three Minutes to a Cerebral Lift
Larry OG moves quickly. Within 3 to 4 minutes the cerebral lift arrives, and it is balanced by enough body weight to settle the session. It is often described as uplifting and as a comfortable evening OG. THC is 19-25%. Expect 2 to 4 hours inhaled, with a longer arc from edibles.
Fuel, Pine and Citrus
Caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene lead, the same three terpenes that OG Kush lists.
Caryophyllene
Caryophyllene is first on the list: peppery, warm and grounding on the body, next to the classic OG fuel.
Limonene
In second place, limonene is uplifting and clear-headed, and sweet citrus is part of the aroma.
Myrcene
Myrcene is third, body-relaxing, heavy and classic indica-feel, in a hybrid with a balanced peak.
Orange County Roots and a Purple Punch Link
Larry OG came out of Orange County, California in the late 2000s as a cross of OG Kush and SFV OG. Through a Granddaddy Purple cross it is also a parent of Purple Punch. It flowers in 8 to 9 weeks.
Staying in the OG Family
OG Kush is the parent strain, with lemon-pine and fuel funk at 19-26% THC. Cherry Pie offers tart cherry in place of the fuel. GG#4 goes stronger, at 22-30%, with sour chocolate. Headband pairs sour diesel with sweet citrus at 20-27% THC.
Sharp Pine, Sweet Citrus and Fuel: The OG Nose
The aroma profile is sweet citrus, sharp pine and classic OG fuel. Larry OG is a cross of OG Kush and SFV OG, and it lists the same three terpenes as OG Kush. It is also a parent of Purple Punch via the Granddaddy Purple cross.
