Hei Tiki Sushi Bar & Restaurant (Astoria)

Do you love sushi? If you answered yes, then congratulations. You have something in common with so many other people in this city. Now it will be so much easier to make friends! In a city full of sushi lovers and sushi restaurants, one has to set themselves apart from the rest. One way to do that would be to have a quirky and somewhat fun theme that is entertaining for a first visit, but quickly loses its novelty. That is not the route that Hei Tiki went. Instead, they decided to make the food more exciting! And we know what you're thinking. How could raw fish over rice be any more exciting? Well, what if we told you that you could eat sushi in the form of a taco with a shell made from crispy fried nori? Yeah, they did that. They also did a lot of other amazing stuff with their food that pairs perfectly with their amazing hand crafted drinks! We happen to pride ourselves on having such an eclectic range of food knowledge in Queens that we can cater suggestions to every demographic and price point. To prove it, we present to you Blazin Chicken & Gyro in Ozone Park. A food truck slinging sauces and halal meats over fries and rice so well you'll forget about all of the other halal carts in the city. The difference here? They make it look good. Men In Black quotes aside, they really do. Their instagram page is loaded with reels highlighting their classic and newly introduced dishes.
