From April 13th through the 26th, you can catch amazing deals at some of the borough’s best bites all within walking distance of us here at Terp Bros Astoria! Here are some of our favorite participating restaurants.
Tootles & French
Sure, we’ve mentioned Tootles one or six times before in these newsletters. But that’s only because of how truly great they are. From wine to food to service, this place hits on every level. MUST TRY: French’s Chopped Cheese, an elevated version of the NYC classic featuring ground steak and onion blend, muenster and cheddar cheese, and house made jalapeño aioli on a ciabatta roll. You can’t go wrong here. Try it all!
OK CAFE
Food is great. In fact, it might be the best part of being alive. However, food without drink is like the night sky without stars. Or something like that. Regardless of convoluted similes, Ok Cafe is serving up both food AND drink specials this restaurant week! From signature coffees and teas to delicious baked goods and sandwiches, this tiny shop is slinging big flavors! MUST TRY: Baklava Latte, an elegant and classy coffee featuring flavors of honey, pistachio, and rich, creamy sweetness that you can’t get anywhere else!
Rivercrest
Looking for a place where you can watch the sports ball game in your shirt with a bunch of holes in it and numbers on the back? Look no further than Rivercrest sports bar! Drink specials, delicious bar food, and TVs in every imaginable direction. You can’t go wrong with that! When it comes to food, it’s classic bar staples. Tots, sliders, fries, etc. The only difference? It’s all cooked way better than your average bar food. MUST TRY: Giant pretzel with beer cheese dipping sauce. Do we really need to explain why salty bread with beer cheese is the perfect bar food? We didn’t think so. Keep reading for dessert!

There is no shortage of cookie shops here in the city. Cookies have transformed and been stuffed, covered, drenched, and coated until almost unrecognizable in recent years. However, just because a cookie is crazy, doesn’t mean it tastes good. This is something the people at Cookie Crumz understand. For that reason, they balance crazy, unique creations with a dedication to quality cookie dough bases that give you the best of both worlds. MUST TRY: All of them. Honestly, you should just get an assortment.
