We also don’t exactly know why we say ‘we’ when it’s just one person writing this. Supposedly it promotes a team-based image, which we’re told is important. Regardless, what’s important to _us_ is you! And for that reason, we’re back again like every Tuesday with another list of what to do, where to shop, and what products here at Terp Bros are fire (spoiler alert: It’s all of them). Today is St. Patrick’s Day, so it seems only fitting that we highlight a spot that serves traditional Irish food. What is traditional Irish food, you ask? Keep reading. We’re literally about to tell you. Or open another tab and google it if you just can’t wait. Honey Fitz is an Irish pub on Broadway here in Astoria that has a classic, cozy vibe and serves up pints of Guinness and house cocktails to thirsty Astoria locals on the daily. However, where they truly shine is their food menu. They have amazing fish and chips, sausage rolls, cottage pie, and so many more comforting and filling Irish dishes that will have you river dancing to your server to ask for seconds! They also have a limited chip shop pop up menu that features even more Irish classics and inventive recipes like battered sausage (think corn dog, but thinner and without the stick) and cottage pie croquettes that blend savory, delicious cottage pie filling with deep fried mashed potato balls. Kind of like a meat and potato Gusher, only much better than that makes it sound.
