Physics & Fire: A Terp Bros Newsletter
Welcome back, Terp folks! It's a new week. Temperatures are slowly dropping back down to tolerable levels, and the shelves here at Terp Bros Astoria and Ozone Park are packed with amazing new products for you to try! Whether you're a smoker, a dabber, an edibles person, or a little bit of everything kind of cannabis user, we have what you need to do the deed. That *is* what "do the deed" means, right? You know what? Don't even tell us. Regardless, thanks so much for coming back week after week to read our silly little list of what to smoke and where to kick it here in Queens. It means a lot to us that we can share the beauty of this borough with you all and spread the love of the amazing food it has to offer. With that said, let's jump into it.

Weekly Featured Products
Dank By Definition Sungrown Ounces - Assorted Strains (Ozone Park)

Buying in bulk is usually the best way to get flower for a good value. Buying by the eighth is great for variety but typically isn't the best move for your wallet. Lucky for you (and your wallet), Dank By Definition just dropped a sick new lineup of full ounce options that will have you and your wallet laughing and dancing. Options means variety and variety is the spice of life or whatever Robin Leach said. Current list of ounces available as of the writing of this is Cherry Thunderfuck (Hybrid), Larry Bird (Hybrid), Candyland (Sativa-Hybrid), Maui Wowie (Sativa-Hybrid), and Cheese & Chong (Sativa-Hybrid).
The Cherry Thunderfuck packs a bold and flavorful punch with decidedly balanced effects. Not too heady, not too relaxing. A great any time of day smoke. The Larry Bird, fortunately for all of us, does not taste like an aging basketball player from the 1970s. Instead, it has an earthy, full bodied flavor with notes of sweet berries and citrus. The Candyland is a candy terp bomb with flavors reminiscent of rainbow sherbet freshly scooped on a hot summer day. The Maui is a tropical flavor assault on the tongue. Pineapple, cream, freshness, slightly floral. All of the things you imagine when you think of Hawaii are located in this bag. Finally, Cheese & Chong. A true crowd pleaser finally available in bulk! Cheesy, skunky, gassy. Full of flavor and with a high that seems to never end! No matter what kind of high you're looking for, you can get what you're looking for here at Terp Bros Ozone Park.
MFNY New Disposable Vapes - Assorted Strains (Both Locations)

Do you live anywhere near either Terp Bros location? If so, you need to walk, not run (safety first) to the shop and grab yourself a new disposable vape from MFNY while supplies last. High quality live resin in an all new device that is designed specifically to deliver perfectly potent puffs for personal pleasure. It's their patent pending PPPPP method. Alright, maybe we made that last part up. Still, the new disposable vapes from MFNY are worth checking out if you've ever been a fan of any of their products. They really took their time with the design so that it would debut as a product you could count on and that would hold up to the rest of their product line. In our humble opinion, they may have done too much. These things are too good. There is no way they are going to last. The budtenders are already moving four or five in a single sale so if you want to try one (or multiple) out for yourself, jump while they're still here!
Current lineup includes the UK Cheese (Hybrid, both locations), Rainbow Beltz 2.0 (Indica, Astoria), Hash Burger (Indica, both locations), Sour Diesel (Sativa, both locations), Superboof (Hybrid, both locations), and the Candy Rain (Indica, Astoria). Each one is unique and packs a specific punch. Probably best to just grab one of each!
New Rolling Green 1/8ths! (Astoria)

Rolling Green might as well have a standing section here in our newsletters at this point. What can we say? They consistently put out new and amazing flower strains that are nothing if not noteworthy. So, we take note. Then we share those notes with you, after we heavily edit them for graphic language, of course. This week, the drop may be small but it is definitely mighty. The two new strains we're talking about this week are the Citrus Sorbet (Sativa-Hybrid) and the MAC Stomper (Hybrid).
The Citrus Sorbet does its name justice. Crazy levels of orange and lemon are balanced out with vanilla cream notes and a slight skunky exhale. Super heady but balanced enough to not keep you up all night or end up having a panic attack. The MAC Stomper is an entirely different beast altogether. Heavy earthy terps and funk that stinks the room up after one hit in the best possible way. Creamy vanilla becomes apparent only on the exhale but punches through making you immediately want another hit. You know what? You've been good this week. Go ahead and smoke yourself stupid. We won't tell anyone. Head to Terp Bros Astoria to grab yourself one of either or one of each today!
I'm Too High For This, Bro... A Discussion About Particle Physics
Hello there! How are we all adjusting to being in Long Shutdown 3? If you're not sure what we're talking about, strap in. Then Google it. The Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland has been shut down since late June for major upgrades. That means that for a little over a month now, our bodies have been readjusting to living in a world where the fabric of space and time isn't being actively distorted by billions of time dilation events per second caused by protons moving at 99.9999% the speed of light smashing into each other and piercing the veil between what we experience as physical space and time, and the governing dimension outside our three dimensional, holographic reality. In fact, some researchers have even gone as far as to speculate that each of those tiny holes in our time and space might possibly be the birth of an entirely new reality. Even our current reality could be nothing but a cheap spinoff of the original. Laugh tracks and all. One thing is for sure. We have absolutely no clue. So... how do you feel?
Weekly Restaurant Highlights
Charlie's - Astoria's Littlest Pub (Astoria, obviously)

Looking for a little bit of fun on a Friday or Saturday night? You're in luck! Looking for fun any other night of the week? Go somewhere else. Charlie's doesn't play like that! No, seriously though. Charlie's is only open Friday and Saturday nights from 5pm to 2am. It's a tiny little pub with a huge heart and friendly service. You can't help but fall in love with this spot right when you walk in. It has a classic charm that just makes you want to get a frosty mug slid down the bar in your direction. This is not the movies. This is not Cheers. There will be nobody yelling "Norm" when a large man in a tweed jacket walks in.
What will be there is an amazing staff that will provide you with excellent service, cold drinks made to perfection, and a "we're all regulars here" attitude from most patrons inside. It also doesn't hurt that it happens to be the sister pub to one of our favorite restaurants here in Astoria, The Bonnie. Hear us out, the perfect Friday or Saturday night out. Start at The Bonnie for burgers, snacks, and beer. Once your buzz takes hold, head right next door and downstairs to Charlie's where the party continues until 2am and listen to retro vinyl and have an absolute blast! You're welcome. Not often a neighborhood dispensary newsletter delivers on a two for one food and drink rec that involves next to no travel. We're just built different like that. So is Charlie's. And The Bonnie. Check us out, then check them out. Let them know we sent you when you do!
Your Kitchen (Wherever You Live)

Listen, we get it. Times are tough for everybody right now. We're doing what we can in this week's restaurant highlight section to remind you that every home kitchen is also a restaurant. In fact, it's one of the most exclusive restaurants out there. No name, no sign, and only you and the people you let in personally can get a table in the intimate dining room. Which is sometimes just a small folding table that's basically still in the kitchen. Whatever works for you works for you. The beauty of thinking of your own kitchen as a restaurant is that you get to play all of the roles. You design the menu, you cook it to your liking, and you do the dishes after. You even get to try out your terrible British accent and call yourself an idiot sandwich.
Sure, they're not all glorious or high profile positions but it takes a village to run a restaurant. With dedication and persistence, you'll eventually be serving yourself Michelin star level dishes like Kraft mac and cheese with cut up hot dogs, microwaved tortilla pizzas with pre shredded mozzarella and dried herbs, even ramen noodles with chopped up lunch meat and unevenly cut green onions. The possibilities are endless when you run your own restaurant. Now get out there and do your best, whatever that is!
Catch You Next Week
Here we are again, Terpalerps. Another week gone, and another list of what to smoke and where to eat and hang out here in Queens. Honestly, we could probably do one of these every week for years and never run out of amazing new products here at Terp Bros or amazing restaurants serving up some of the best and most diverse food on the planet! That being said, this is unfortunately the end of this week's list. Don't be sad, though. We'll be back next week like every week with an all new lineup of fire, food, and fun! See you then!
